Resetting Your Password on the CoinMarketCap website

To reset your password on your CoinMarketCap account using our CoinMarketCap website, please see below:

1. Navigate to the CoinMarketCap website: https://coinmarketcap.com/

2. In the top right-hand corner, there should be a blue "Log In" button. (If you do not see this button, but see the hamburger symbol—the three-lined symbol—instead, please click that.)

3. A window will pop up where you can then select "Forgot password?"

4. Next, you will enter your email address in the "Enter your email address..." field and then click "Send Instructions."

5. Complete the security verification by sliding the puzzle to the appropriate space.

6. You will receive an email from CoinMarketCap with the instructions on how to reset your password.

7. In the email, you will see a button that says "Click here to reset password."

​

8. You will then be redirected back to the CoinMarketCap website where you will be asked to enter your new password.

9. After you have entered it, click the "Update Password" button.

10. Your password is now updated.
