CMC Priority (CMCP)

(A) Overview

We offer a fast-track service called CMC Priority (CMCP). Apply for CMCP here. 

• This is an official service provided directly by CMC, which provides enhanced benefits vis-a-vis unauthorized intermediaries:
  • Service-level agreements (SLAs) provide customer protection and certainty over turnaround times. We will only issue an invoice and strive to meet the deadline after performing an internal feasibility analysis. 
  • Attempting to bribe CMC staff will result in the blacklisting and delisting of the project.
• CMCP is available for most projects, subject to technical feasibility. If the project has an existing Coin page, Dexscan pair page or Exchange page, it is definitely eligible for CMCP.
  
  

CMC Priority is a fast-track service.

It gives projects an option to join a priority queue without discrediting our rankings or putting our users at risk. With the launch of Dexscan, the majority of assets are now listed automatically on CMC via on-chain data. 

Why are we launching CMC Priority?

CMC Priority is a response to overwhelming demand to cut down on wait times.  We still receive up to 500+ requests per day for page updates, resulting in an inevitable backlog. There will continue to be a free tier for CMC listing under the standard queue, which we will clear according to our prioritization framework.

How does CMC Priority work?

CMC Priority gives projects the option to join a priority queue and reduce waiting time. 

To ensure the safety of our users and avoid any rank manipulation, CMC Priority will only apply to attributes (e.g. socials, website, logos, SRD) that do not affect rank (e.g. circulating supply).

(B) Terms & Conditions

1. All projects are eligible. Projects with an existing CoinMarketCap (CMC) page: (i) Coin page, (ii) Dexscan pair page (iii) Exchange page are more likely to meet the technical feasibility requirements.
2. Your access is subject to (i) technical feasibility and (ii) verification according to our data admissibility criteria
3. ALL requested updates must be visible on the project's official website/socials (especially contract address) to avoid processing malicious updates.
4. For coin updates, we will run the contract address through scanning tools to mitigate risks.
5. CMC reserves the right to (i) issue alerts or (ii) remove information from any page if it infringes on copyrights or harms the UX.
6. ETA will depend on the complexity of the updates. Rough benchmarks are in Section C.
7. Any payment is non-refundable and non-transferable, except as otherwise required by applicable law. Please review pricing carefully and ensure that there are no errors in the requests.
8. Your use of the services shall be at your own risk. We provide the services on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable laws, CMC and/or its affiliates, employees, officers, managers, directors, agents, disclaim all warranties of any kind, including but not limited to any warranties of merchantability, error-free, non-infringement, or for a particular purpose, regardless of express or implied, regardless of in the aspect of tort, contract or otherwise, and regardless of whether CMC has been advised of the possibility of such liabilities.
9. CMC hereby disclaims all warranties, conditions, common law duties and representations, either express, implied, oral or written. CMC makes no warranties about the accuracy or completeness of the services. Also, CMC assumes no liability or responsibility for:
   
   • (i) any errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies of the services;
     
   • (ii) personal injury, property damage, lost profits, loss of data or any indirect, special, incidental, exemplary, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the CMC Services;
     
   • (iii) any interruption, suspension or termination of the services;
     
   • (iv) any bugs, viruses or similar links transmitted by third-parties on or through the Services;
     
   • (v) any programs intended to damage, detrimentally interfere with, surreptitiously intercept or expropriate any personal information of you; and/or
     
   • (vi) any damages arising from or in connection with unexpected circumstances or otherwise beyond our reasonable control.
10. In no event shall CMC be liable to you or third parties for any indirect, incidental, punitive, special, exemplary or consequential damages (including, without limitation, loss of business, revenue, profits, use, data, or other economic advantage), however it arises, whether for breach of contract or in tort, even if CMC has been advised of the likelihood of such damages occurring.
11. CMC has no control over third-party sites which you may have access to, including those sites which are linked to our websites. Therefore, CMC is not responsible for the content or function of any other websites, and disclaims any liability for any aspects of such third-party websites via your direct access or through our websites or software functionality. The applicable service terms and privacy policies of those third-party websites shall govern your use of such websites.
12. The maximum aggregate, cumulative liability of CMC and our members, officers, employees, directors, consultants, affiliates, will not exceed your direct damages, if any, up to the total amount paid by you to us during the three (3) months prior to your making a claim against CMC. These limitations and exclusions regarding damages apply even if any remedy provided by us fails to provide adequate compensation.
13. You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold CMC and/or its affiliates, employees, officers, managers, directors, agents, harmless from and against any claims, liabilities, losses, injuries, damages, costs, or expenses (including but not limited to attorney fees and other expenses) arising from or in connection with:
    • (i) your access or use of the CMC services;
    • (ii) your breach or alleged breach of any terms, conditions, obligations, representations or warranties contained under this Agreement;
    • (iii) any materials, or other information provided by you or on your behalf;
    • (iv) your violation of any applicable laws or third-parties' rights and interests; and/or
    • (v) your other illegal, fraudulent or inappropriate behavior.

(D) Workflow

• Don't trust, verify. To avoid being scammed, please cross-reference these links across official CMC resources (website, socials, etc). We won't DM first. All communication will be initiated via tickets from our official forms to mitigate risks. • Payment will be requested after we have provided an ETA in the ticket. 
• After receiving payment and completing the updates, we will close the loop in the ticket. 

(E) Payment details

• CMC will assess the feasibility of the job and provide an ETA.
• After the client agrees to the terms, CMC will issue an invoice containing payment details.
• Updates will be processed after we have confirmed receipt of payment
